The name Hamill tells a multigeneration story of the Thomson family, beginning with Emily Grace Hamill, who married Fredrick Thomson. Hamill Shiraz is produced from the Sugarloaf vineyard, which is situated amongst the rolling hills surrounding the black ranges.
