Deep red-magenta with a violet hue
An intense perfume of dried flowers, aniseed and blueberry is enveloped with notes of bitter chocolate, savoury spices and pepper.
Smooth and succulent flavours of blueberry and plum careen along with the fine grained tannins and mineral acid. The core of lush fruit finishes with a drying savoury finish.
Restrained plum notes on the palate and dusty tannins would pair well with most red meat dishes. I will be buying some to put away for a few years.
