Best’s Great Western is celebrated for its Shiraz wines, which are considered some of the finest examples of the variety in Australia. Located in Western Victoria, with a cool climate that is influenced by the nearby Great Dividing Range. The Great Western sub region in the Grampians produces a regional style of Shiraz is known for its rich, medium-bodied character and intense flavours.
The Shiraz grape variety thrives in this climate, resulting in wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region. Grampians Shiraz is typically deep ruby red in colour, with a vibrant and youthful appearance. On the nose, it offers a complex array of aromas, including dark fruits such as plum and blackberry, along with hints of spice, black pepper and some subtle floral notes.

Our Thomson Family Shiraz was named in the First Classified, and Bin No. 0 Shiraz was included as Classified.
