One of the greatest things about the Great Western wine region is its ability to successfully grow a diverse range of grape varieties. Shiraz may well be the regional hero, but Cabernet Sauvignon from the area can lay almost equal claim to fame.
With a pretty nose of wild roses, strawberries, blackcurrants and five spice, this mid weight wine has a plush and tangy core of ripe red and blue fruits with a soft and savoury finish.

The Nursery Block at Best’s Wines has always been one of our treasured vineyards, and it is incredibly unique even on a global level. This block is a 1.2-hectare vineyard believed to feature the most extensive pre-phylloxera plantings in Australia, and possibly the world.
