Things you need to know…. This entertaining evening will include wine themed debates, pictionary and charades featuring our participating guest winemakers. Not only educational but also fun!! The evening will be MC’d by legendary Australian wine educator and writer, Jane Faulkner.

Conlan's Winter Wine Weekend - Belfast Pop-Up Cellar Door
Conlan’s ‘Pop Up Cellar Door’ will be held at The Belfast on Saturday July 9th and will feature Best’s Wines.
This is be a ticketed event & gives guests the chance to sample wine in a fun, social format. Tickets for this event are $30 per person which includes tasting of 4 wines from each of the 10 producers (40 wines) and a glass to take home.

Conlan's Winter Wine Weekend - Premium Bastille Dinner
Join Conlan’s and Best’s Wines Hamish Thomson to celebrate French and Australian wines in a unique way.
This is an extremely rare chance to taste some iconic wines side by side, while enjoying a delicious dinner which will complement each wine.
Guests will enjoy a progressive degustation dinner with a different winemaker joining them for each course. After each course the winemakers will make their way to the next table. The degustation will consist of 6 courses with a French and Australian variety pairing with each course. The winemakers will discuss the wine pairings with each course and discuss their experiences as winemakers within Australia and internationally.
Price: $200.00 per person

Our Museum Wine Nights are back! These special nights give you the opportunity to sample three back vintage wines before deciding on a favourite and settling in with a glass. Red Series - Ballarat
Red Series Ballarat premium Grampians and Pyrenees wine tasting event. Ballarat Mining Exchange Saturday 30 July, two sessions 11:30am – 2:30pm and 3:30pm – 6:30pm.
Ballarat will host Western Victoria’s top winemakers and their best wines at The Red Series on July 30, 2022.
The event, which showcases the Grampians and Pyrenees regions’ finest red wines along with other varietals, is expected to draw a crowd to Ballarat.
The Red Series is a gathering of the very best cellar doors from the Pyrenees and Grampians wine regions, in the one ambient heated indoor space the Mining Exchange, right in the heart of Ballarat and a two minute walk from the train station. Red Series event-goers will have the opportunity to taste and purchase Shiraz and other wine varieties from 22 wineries. The Grampians and Pyrenees wine regions, situated on Ballarat’s doorstep, are renowned for more than 150 years of winemaking history, spectacular landscapes, award-winning wines and extremely talented, but down-to-earth winemakers. There will be something for everyone including cheese, produce and music entertainment.

Shiraz Zoom Masterclass
Join Hamish Thomson for a very special Zoom Masterclass. Hamish with take you through the intricacies of our cornerstone wine Bin No. 1 Shiraz, the newly released Hamill Shiraz and our Icon, Bin No. 0 Shiraz. This masterclass is designed for those of you who are unable to visit us in person and will be limited to 20 tickets only. Ticket price includes a trio of all three wines so why not invite some friends around to share in the experience!

To celebrate the inaugural Grampians Wine Festival, join Hamish and Ben Thomson on Saturday 10th September for a special guided shiraz tasting experience. The Thomson boys will present all our 2019 vintages from Bin No. 1 Shiraz through to our flagship wine The Thomson Family Shiraz plus a bonus mystery wine. There will be an opportunity to ask them some questions and a guided tour. A small palate cleansing cheese plate will also be included. Strictly limited to 20 guests.
