2016 Great Western Chardonnay
The hue is pale straw with silver hints. Complex aromas of white flowers, struck match, sourdough and ruby grapefruit. on the palate, there's an unctuous mix of apple skin, green papaya and roasted cashews with a salivating line of minerality that carries it to a long finish. Try this cool-climate Chardonnay with barbequed Moreton Bay bugs and green papaya salad. This wine is drinking well now but will mature gracefully over the next 10 years.
